Admire artifacts, waterfalls, hieroglyphics and even special effects like thunder and lightning as you complete the course. Legend has it a warrior named Pakal, who invented mini golf, is buried inside the temple. Play your way through ancient ruins, including a Mayan Temple, during your day at Cancun Lagoon. Waterfalls, volcanoes, and caves are just some of the many obstacles between your putter and the holes. Visitors walk among dinosaurs like T-Rex and other prehistoric animals, perfect for kiddos who can’t get enough of these amazing creatures. Putt-putt your way back in time to the age of the dinosaurs! The 36-hole course features two layouts – the Ice Age and Predator. There’s also a chance to shoot for a lifetime pass on the 19th hole. By the end of the round, players will climb four-stories high to the ultimate treehouse providing spectacular views of the ocean and downtown. Located in downtown Myrtle Beach, players work their way through thatched huts, sea monsters, aliens and even Elvis as they aim for a hole in one.
Atlanticus's mythology states that it's a 50,000-year-old mini-golf resort that broke away from Atlantis, floated to Myrtle Beach, and somehow lodged itself into the old Chapin's Department Store. One of the oldest and most popular courses on the Grand Stand, Mount Atlanticus features two courses for visitors to try. This is one of the best courses to play at night as it adds to the elaborate fantasy. Highly themed, the course is set in the Dark Ages and winds through meandering streams, through a Viking Ship and inside of castles and caves. The state-of-the-art facility features a fire-breathing dragon named Sir Alfred, which adds a fun sense of danger and adventure to your play. Located at Broadway at the Beach, Dragon’s Lair is a nice addition to all of the other activities available at the complex.
Wind your way through dark caverns, flowing waterfalls in a quest to find the buried treasure of the mutinous pirates. As you navigate the course, watch out for the pirate crew hiding in the course's terrain. The centerpiece of the mini golf course is a large pirate ship.
